Instagram Introduces New In App Scheduling Tool For Professional Accounts

After weeks of testing with selected users, Instagram has finally joined platforms such as TikTok and Youtube, with in-app post scheduling.

The new Instagram feature allows businesses and content creators to schedule posts, reels and carousels for up to 75 days in advance without the need for any third-part scheduling software.

Say Goodbye to Creator Studio 👋.

This feature allows professional accounts full control over the date and time they wish the post to be made in advance, without the need to physically hit post!

To schedule posts, use the following steps:

  • Create your post to your desire, with all your edits completed.
  • Tap ‘Advanced Settings’
  • Tap ‘Schedule this post’
  • Select the time and date you want it to go live
  • Tap ‘Schedule’ in the post composer.

You can always change your mind before the post goes live by rescheduling the release for another date and time.

Although scheduling Instagram posts is not something new, with creators doing so since 2020, having the in-app feature offers users a smoother experience, being able to order, edit and schedule their content in one app, in one sitting.

Instagram has not commented on whether this feature will be extended to personal accounts. Would you use this feature for your holiday posts?
